Remember how I mentioned a while ago I was obsessed with the idea of human!Spike? So I happened to stumble across this story, which was pretty satisfying in that regard:

It's Got to be Perfect by Speaker-To-Customers.

Halfrek offers Buffy a wish, and Buffy wishes Spike were human. Things don't go quite as planned, but they do go in some rather interesting directions. It's satisfyingly long, and though it's listed as a WIP I found that the place where it currently ends gives pretty good closure; at least it certainly doesn't end at a cliffhanger.

I can't make them out either! theohara made me the icon after she'd read the first chapter of my new Spike/Tara story "Life In Shadow", so I presume they are something to do with the Scoobies. One of them looks like Spock to me but that doesn't make any sense so I must be wrong. I can't think of a way of asking her who they are without sounding like I might be ungrateful so I haven't said anything.
