Fic post: Human Frailty

So if you've been following my journal, you know I've been proudly struggling to get my 10 minutes of writing in a day for WriSoMiFu. Well, guess what happened today? I had to go home sick from work! And once I'd stopped throwing up, I decided to write. But did I work on my ongoing, 10-struggling-minutes-a-day story? Why, no! I wrote a complete, shmoopy, plotless h/c thing.
See, I was sick and alone, and since I wanted someone to comfort me, I sent Xander to comfort Spike instead. Not that I identify with the characters to an unhealthy extent or anything. *ahem*
Anyway. Here we go:
Title: Human Frailty
Pairing: Spike/Xander
Rating: PG-13 (but the boys do use the F-word)
Genre: hurt/comfort
Spoilers: This takes place after "Not Fade Away," and there's vague spoilers for major events at the end of both series.
Length: 2800 words
Notes: It's about six months after "Not Fade Away." Spike is now human, and dating Xander, and they're both working for the new Watcher's Council and living in Rome. How did we get from there to here? Let's not worry about those petty details, my dear. Just nod and smile.
