Um. So instead of properly writing my thoughts about the end of Angel, I somehow instead ended up writing a scene which could follow the fade-to-black. This isn't an actual fic - the story doesn't really go anywhere. It might end up being the first chapter of a fic at some later point, but I make no promises. Nevertheless, it's 2 am and I feel like posting something I've written for once. (The actual story I wrote is still in the editing phase, and I remain resolute not to post any part of it until it's all done.)

So. One path reality could take right after "Not Fade Away," according to me. Warning: I tread some kind of middle ground between the best and worst-case scenarios. ( Click if curious. )
