Summer of Giles post, coming up soon!

summer_of_giles day. I'm rather excited!
It's going to be midnight in 24 minutes. Can I post after midnight? Or should I wait till morning? I really wanna post the first chapter after midnight. Argh, I'm so impatient! Maybe I'll look back through the community and see whether anyone else has done that, posted in the wee hours of their day.
Of course, as usual, I'm scared that nobody will read it. Especially since I've been so absent from fandom lately; I haven't been reading anybody else's stuff, so now they won't feel obligated to read mine. :P
I'm really ridiculously insecure. But, um, at least I can laugh at myself! Ha ha ha!

ETA: A careful skimming through previous Summer of Giles entries reveals that I wouldn't be the first person to pull the "Hey, it's after midnight, I'm going for it!" trick. That's good enough for me! Woohoo!
