I am soooo late at reading/commenting on this story - but I figure better late than never, right? I loved this story (as I have with everything else of yours I've read)... there's so much to your writing, so many layers and a rich 'verse.
I enjoyed the glimpses of Larry and Andrew. You're wonderful at keeping all of your characters in character (how's that for good grammar?) - and for both of them you managed it with just brief appearances.
I love your Spike and Xander in this 'verse... and I'm looking forward to getting to know more of the backstory that is hinted at. Here's hoping your 'Real Life' and job don't keep you too busy. ;-)
