I liked this whole story. Genius idea, the whole Dawn thing rewriting the timeline.
Thanks very much! I was rather pleased with myself when I came up with it, 'cause as far as I know no one's used the Dawn situation in quite that way before. And? Time travel is fun. *g*
I had a moment of panic when the rock disappeared, and then I was so upset with you making Xander become an asshole all of a sudden and then realized it was the demon and was so proud of you for doing such a good job of it.
Oh, man, the Thesulac scene was so hard to write! And I envisioned everybody freaking out at Xander suddenly turning into an asshole, and refusing to read the rest of the story. :P Thanks for trusting me enough to keep going and find out what was really going on!
Loved back a few parts when they ran into everyone and they were confused and mean and Dawn had to do the spell.
Now, that part was fun to write!
Hope the S3 Scoobies didn't come off too mean; remember from their point of view it had only been a couple months since Spike had kidnapped Willow and Xander, given Xander a concussion, and threatened to mutilate and/or rape and/or kill Willow. So, really, not one of his better moments. And as for Xander, yeah, it's Xander, but they could all very clearly see that he wasn't their Xander. Plus, he was holding hands with Spike. Heh. Poor, confused S3 Scoobies.
