Just found this last night, and I've been catching up with it this morning. It's hell being offline! I miss so much good fic! I'm so glad to see more of this verse, and I loved this chapter so much, with Xander's chat with his younger self, Larry, and another look at the delicate balance that Xander and Spike have. I love the way they care for one another, the way you show how necessary it is to both of them. If it were just Xander keeping sickly!Spike safe and well, it wouldn't feel so real. Love the last paragraph, where Spike comforts the Comfortador...
