I wonder...if I challenge my flist to do something really silly, will they do it?

Only one way to find out!

From noon 'till 10:30 pm today I was writing report card comments. The official format for report card comments is thus: Start by saying something positive. Then talk about any problems the person is having. Finish with a concrete suggestion for improvement. The whole thing must be a maximum of 500 characters, including spaces.

Challenge: Pick a season of Buffy or Angel. Pick a character. Write a report card comment based on what they did in that season.

Fred is a lovable, sweet girl who is a joy to teach and has a real gift for the sciences.

Lately, however, I have become worried about Fred's behavior. She has become withdrawn, speaking in a monotone and spending recess with the plants. She has begun dressing like a "Goth", seems uninterested in her former friends (calling them "puny" and "vile"). She has also referred to her existence as "loathsome".

Perhaps she would benefit from a hobby. She seems to like plants; perhaps gardening?

I am bored and I really have no idea how you spell ho. Ho? Hoe?

Spike has made some notable progress this year. He’s learning to play well with others, and has demonstrated a strong interest in literature. In doing so, he has shown himself to be well above reading-level for his grade, which I am delighted with and accommodate to the best of my ability in the classroom.

However, lately Spike has become a big ho. Whether or not this is a new development or not, it is worrisome. He is constantly skipping school to go be with his girlfriend, to the detriment of his grades. Also, he has been trying to bite me and the other teachers, which is distracting and actually quite unacceptable. I know Spike is only acting out, but we have a zero tolerance policy at this school. If I catch sight of another hickey on his neck, or receive another death threat, expulsion may be imminent.

I would like to set up a meeting with you on this subject. Please feel free to call me at school or at home so that we can discuss your son, the big ho.

Hee! I think you went over 500 characters. But it's all in good fun. I love this image: Also, he has been trying to bite me and the other teachers, which is distracting and actually quite unacceptable.

Oh and yeah, I'm pretty sure "ho" is the right spelling.

Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas!
