So, I've been in a state for a while that I can't write anything without hating it. I've got maybe a chapter's start on a Fragments story set after "Before the Time of Dawn," but everything about it is aargh! bad! stilted! lame! wrong! I've also got the start of a short Fragments-verse Christmas story (which I started a week before actual Christmas); it also sucks.
What do you do when this happens to you?

I also have a question which is much narrower in its scope. What do you think Spike would call a cellular phone? Americans call them cells, but Brits call them mobiles, right? Only, canonically I don't think Spike has even been in England since the invention of cellular phones. So he'd probably have been introduced to them by the American name. Would he use the British word anyway, just 'cause?
