Hm, well, I've read some Klaus/Dave in Vietnam stories that I have absolutely loved, but they don't qualify as fix-its since they either end in his death or just don't get that far (and therefore end with the spectre of his death still in the future). So if what you want is Klaus/Dave happily-ever-after, let me recommend this one:
