I think Klaus and Dave was a success in that they both found true love and happiness. No relationship lasts forever - even in the best of them, *someone* is going to die first. That Dave died so tragically and so soon was a horrible by-product of war. I think if Klaus could have brought him back and/or they'd both survived the war and got home, they would have been together for decades.
I love Klaus and Five the most, so even though I think Allison and Luther could have/may still have some kind of relationship, I'm not too interested in it. I hope that Vanya finds someone, now that she's aware she's not full-on straight.
I think...Five will be happy with the occasional one-night-stand once his body grows up, but I can't see him in any sort of long-term intimate relationship with an actual human.
