Starting a Sense8 rewatch

I've just started a Sense8 rewatch with
the_shoshanna (in which we watch separately but simultaneously in our own homes while voice-chatting on Zoom—you know, like all the cool kids these days). So far we've just watched the first episode, but I'm really looking forward to continuing. We have each already seen the whole series, so we can do full spoiler discussion mode, which is a lot of fun.
One thing that we agreed on was our appreciation of the moist rainbow dildo in the first episode, and what it immediately and efficiently conveys about the politics of the show—and of course, having seen all the way to the end, we know that that dildo's going to be joyfully featured at the conclusion as well. I love that about this show.
We also agreed that the first episode makes no sense the first time you watch it—this show has a very steep on-ramp. Re-watching is a great pleasure, because this time instead of being all "Wait, huh, who is this now? Where are we? What's happening? Who's even in this scene?" I can just squee with joy every time I meet one of the characters, thinking about all of the awesome and wonderful things I'm going to see them do, and all of the love that they're going to build and share.
The one technical difficulty that I had was that the audio from the Zoom session was coming in a bit softer than the audio from the show, so I had a little trouble hearing
the_shoshanna—if I turned up my system volume enough that I could hear her easily, the show was too loud. But immediately after we finished I did a little research and discovered that (unsurprisingly) it's possible to separately adjust the volume of different apps. (I mean, I figured it would be, I just didn't know how—it wasn't something that I'd ever needed to do before!) So I'm all set for next time! :)
