How to make it pretty? - part 2

Okay, with help from poshcat and the lovely LJ FAQ, I've managed to customize my journal somewhat. Now I have a more specific question:

I have a background picture I'd like to use.




It's just perfect for the theme of my journal, plus it's very yummy. :)

I've already loaded it as the background image to my page, but as you can see if you go there, you can't really see it! I have no idea how to resize or reposition things to make this work better. Or turn it into a banner (no idea how that works, plus it's the wrong shape). Can anyone help?

You can go under manage, customize, hit the edit customizations button, and there are options under presentation and sidebar to choose the width of the journal entries and sidebar. I'm sure there are other options as well, but I've got a free account so I'm not familiar with them. Wish you luck! That's a purty background you got there.

Actually I think I've managed to get my journal into a look I'm happy with for now. :) But thanks a bunch for the offer!
