I was so happy to discover that you were following up on before the time of dawn. I really enjoy this series. Not only is human Spike, with his illnesses and bravado, in character, but so are Xander and the other Scoobies. I particularly like your Buffy -- self-centered but not one to carry a grudge, even if she isn't always as ready as she should be to move on from her dreams. Plus, it is well written, always a good thing. It is nice to see a story with a sympathetic Kennedy, too. She is a much maligned character in fan fiction.

I sort of dread what you're going to do with the rest of this, because I fear it will not be easy, but I look forward to finding out too. I just hope that eventually you let them find out enough about has made Spike so sick, that he is able to lead a normal life, if not a superpowered one.
