Man, the swiftness with which I'm squandering the last few days of my vacation is truly amazing to me.

For instance, there are real life housecleaning issues which have yet to be dealt with. I was supposed to organize the filing cabinet. Hah!

I have, however, done some friends-list organizing. Er, what was that about priorities? Anyway, on LJ I've now managed to refriend everybody. Having actually looked at the journals of everyone who has me friended, I'm newly aware that a whole lot of them haven't updated in years. I still friended them back, though, in case they're actively lurking. (Not that I make many friends-locked posts, but you never know, I could start!)

Meanwhile, on Insanejournal I used

electricandroid's handy instructions for friending everyone from my flist who has the same name in LJ and IJ, all in one fell swoop. Handy!

Also, I keep reading people's meta about Boldthrough. I can't seem to stop myself, even though I do keep telling myself that I need to step back, let the dust settle, and get on with my fun fannish activities and/or my actual life. Anyway, I'll just link to one essay (already linked to in several places on my flist) which really felt like it got at the heart of the matter, for me: on sex and fandom education by

egelantier.

As for attempts at fannish productivity: I haven't managed to write anything, but I have at least worked a bit on the commentary track for Sock Puppet. I've now lowered the bar for myself: I'd like to at least get that posted before I go back to work on Friday. (Originally I'd hoped to actually get another chapter of That Good Night written, but it's not looking like I'm going to manage that.)
