So, it turns out that I'd actually only watched two episodes of Bojack Horseman (Netflix of course remembers better than I do). I gave it a try because people kept telling me that it was wonderful, and I stopped after two episodes because Bojack himself was just constantly horrible to everybody, and I was squicked by the fact that the show seemed to be pushing towards a romance between Bojack and Diane.

But I was really intrigued by what you told me about Todd, so I decided to give it another try, and I'm already three episodes into season 2. The show really is doing quite a lot of interesting things, and focusing on being curious about Todd's development decreased the amount I was put off by Bojack himself.

Also I have an asexual character in one of my stories, but he's only a side-character, so I am unsure how much of a spot-light to shine on him.
